Projects we have recently wrapped up
Avila College – Kansas City, Missouri
This was a mixed use project in the Biology Lab at Avila University. We took their existing furniture out while we installed new wood cabinets and workstations from Mott Manufacturing while new tables from Electronic Classroom Furniture Systems were added to the computer lab located just inside the biology classroom. New Epoxy Resin tops were installed to replace both the old counters tops on the existing cabinets and on the teacher’s demo island. Our main challenge on this project was to get both the existing finish and the new manufactured furniture finishes to match what was already in existence. Needless to say we were able make everything match which gave the room an updated look while not sacrificing any of its functionality.
St. Louis Community College – Creve Couer, Missouri
This is one of the many science labs that can be found in the new Bio-Research and Development Growth Park located at the Donald Danforth Plant Center in Creve Couer, Missouri. We worked with both Tarlton Construction and Duggan Contracting Companies on this new 4-story building that is home to their Life Science Tenants. Each tenant who has moved into this particular lab used a combination of Mott Manufacturing metal casework, finished in Bright White. For the counter tops we used 1″ thick Durcon Trespa Lab Plus in black. The fixtures shown here are from Chicago Faucet. The Pegboards shown on the far right of this picture were also made out of Trespa and featured stainless steel drip trays.
Sunset Valley Elementary School – Lee’s Summit, Missouri
Our own Library Guru Bob Wagner worked very closely with the Library Media Services Coordinator for the Lee’s Summit R-V11 School District on this particular project. As you can see the end result is wonderful. This project had furniture specified from several of our manufactures on it. From the Worden Company ,Bob specified their computer workstations, Atlas Stand, Media Book truck and tables which were all coordinated in the Parchement Oak finish with coordinating laminate Solar Oak from Wilsonart. The lounge seating and occassional tables were by Community Seating and were finished in Natural Oak. The seating was covered in Momentum Textiles Design Spirals pattern and the color chosen was Concord color. The shelving was by Estey and our local vendor Grandview Tops completed the Bookshelves with custom made Canopy Tops and End Panels.
